The Circular Design Challenge, India’s leading global award for circular and sustainable fashion presented by R|Elan™ in partnership with the United Nations in India and Lakmé Fashion Week, originated in India empowering young fashion designers and entrepreneurs to showcase their circular innovations. With a focus on environmental champions and promoting sustainable practices in the fashion and textile value chain.

Acien’s Founder, Silvia, presents our Freckle collection as the UK Finalist for the Circular Design Challenge. “Freckle” emphasises both innovation and regeneration in its materials. The collection mirroring how flowers bloom and how human skin transforms, freckling and texturing in the sun’s presence.
